Team Convene:
Team Convene is facilitated by a licensed, mental health professional, and used to create an active support network at the time of diagnosis, recurrence or any challenging time or situation that may follow (hospital stay or home recuperation). The session can include all significant family members and friends in a member’s life, who join together to provide support in areas such as transportation, food preparation, childcare, etc.
Family Focus:
Family Focus is facilitated by a licensed, mental health professional. The session can include anyone a member defines as family. The purpose is to enlist the entire family as a resource and help them learn together how to live with cancer, whatever the outcome. It seeks to identify and discuss family beliefs about cancer, critical family issues and immediate practical problems as well as solutions.
